In the dark
She was wrapped around his handHer heart had been buried under lands of sand
She could no longer see
He never let her free
Her voice shattered
Pieces of her heart scattered
Over the oceans and seas
All those distinctive pleas
Everything was black
In her heart was a major crack
In her breath
The sound of deceiving death
He was everything good she saw
Nothing was wrong no flaw
This is she
A mummy
Trapped
He has overlapped
You don't know what will lark
With her in the dark
