A letter from a friend
I moved awayI wished to stay
But life was getting difficult for me
More difficult for many to see
I left my friends behind
I wished I would have not for they were very kind
I was going through horrible times
Where I lived there were many crimes
I often stopped and wondered if my friends remembered me
And remember how around them I was free
I had enough one-day
I was wishing to be taken away
I went outside to check my mail and say good-bye
I was tired of having to cry
No one loved me any more I wanted my life to end
Just then I got a letter it was from a friend
That's all I needed is to know someone still cared for me
All I needed was a letter from a friend to help me see
Someone will always care
And my friends are always there
