When a person is hit by lighting that person may be marked by the moments of the strike with what is sometimes called lightning-figures . As I take a special interest in this phenomenon I felt compelled to write about it and had to add a fourth line .
a rule-bending contribution to Sabrina's rhyme-challenge
The theory of suspended animation
does not give its victim eternal salvation
as emotions are trapped and will cause a starvation
(when time is trapped too caused by traumatisation)
As the blinding lightning touched ground
the image of a man was preserved without sound
mouth open between branches he was violently bound
(to exist as an imprint never to be found)
Look closer on another mans back and you'll see
the outlines of branches , on his chest a whole tree
and his arm holds a blackbird who never could flee
(when startled by the sudden blast of electricity)
The shadowgraphic images from the day that had been
the day that he lost everything he could possibly win
that moment was now forever cast upon his skin
(his soul lost in an imprint of what he last had seen)

My four words are Long,Kiss,Eyes, and Smile
Eyes That Beguile by M.A.Meddings four word challenge for Sabrina
Oh! how I long
For a love that is strong
Can that be so wrong
And again I would kiss
The sweet little miss
Who would grant me just this
The prettiest of eyes
Is it any surprise
This guy is not wise
Then how i will smile
And my heart rest awhile
For those eyes that beguile
By lastromantichero
------------------------------
my warped contribution to a wonderfully creative challenge
For Sabrina's Challenge!
murder, death, and destruction, of course
murder is not only chilling
it is theft by ruthless intruders
a puncture in the cloth of humanity
death is a bloody confusion
it steals away breath in the night
makes a mess of our insolent lives
destruction is haunting our dreams
a function of political arrogance
but, it is not a bloody unction
of course, there is another
it is very remorseful, though
it involves four damnéd horsemen
By Nepenthes
---------------------------
jinx thinx about sabrina...
love is lust
it is above the crust
what is the bloody fuss
beauty is duty
it is pretty
forgive my god damned litter
love is illusion
if they are confused
they can go to delusion
angry at this?
perhaps a bit pissed?
maybe a shit list?
fuck them!
By jinx

One Crazy Story ~Sabrina Challenge~
I had one idea and this was big
To eat one pie and then rig
A candy bomb; I had to dig
All night it seemed and then all day
I had no money, I need to pay
A gentleman for keeping my life at bay
Then to my luck I found an old log
Filled with to my dismay a lonely frog
Now a companion for my dog
This new animal went in my sack
Which I would place upon my back
With the lunch that matt would pack
