I'm sorry when I had to believe you
When you said all your words were true
I'm sorry that your life is fine
And not mine
I'm sorry that you don't like me
And that I can now see
I'm sorry that I gave you my soul
And you heart was nothing but coal
I'm sorry I'm so pure
And there are very many things I can cure
I'm sorry my life's not messed up anymore
And your heart was tore
I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth when you went away
When I wanted to tell you to stay
I'm sorry I never told you
That without you I'm nothing and that's true
