The last of the briar rose poems

One by One by M.A.Meddings

This beauty
This fire
The burning desire
That is my love for you
Even as the petals fall
From the briar rose

and as winter comes we becom aware of the warmth around us ...inside us ... telling of love filling our days now and forever ... here symbolised by the rose petals falling and us nowing there will be a new rose next summer caryying the same code as the one letting its petals fall one by one and shielding life from winter
