Let me go.
I cannot see your smouldring eyesOr lips of ruby red
The words that danced about my ears
And echoed through my head
I close my eyes and see your skin
A gilt of golden sheen
Will I ever free myself of you
As you invade my dreams
The past is gone, yet you are here
You still torment me so
In daydreams and in nightime still
When will you let me go
I loved you as no other could
As now no other will
For though I still now walk this earth
In which you lie so still
Please give to me the peace I crave
Its in your power to do
For though you're gone, its not for long
For ever we are true.
