Holding onto this bible
I look back at my sinsAnd I see in life nobody wins
Everyone struggles one day one time
In life there's much crime
Not much can change
To some people everything seems strange
I hold onto this bible with such pride
Waiting for my peaceful ride
The ride I'll take when I die
This is the trip I take when I cry
Up to a place
Where there's no such thing as different race
Everyone's the same
And everyone is in the same game
I hold onto this bible until I'm at peace
Where pain can no longer increase
