Solitude

The Parade

From the window shines a light
Through the attic day and night
One by one the fun is made
Broken windows on the parade
Passers by shoot a glance
Silence remains amongst the stance
The cold draws near
The sun declines
To stay awake and off it shines
Like a lighthouse in darkness the streetlights fade
