I can't do it on my own

Why?
Every time I try
To do something right I fail
I try to prevail
But it's hard that's exactly why
Why I try
I try so hard but you still think everything's not right
I might get something right I just might
But I need you to help me
Not just let me be free
I need you to hold onto my wings and help them fly
I need you to help me try
I try all day and night
But without you I can't ever see a light
I'm always in darkness and I fail
But with you I'll soon prevail
I need your help cant you see?
I need you to help me
