This came from insperation from another poem but i put my own twist on things.
And our laughter we restore
The light seems more appealing
When we lift our head once more
When the days turn into weeks
And we've nothing left to feel
There's no tears upon our cheeks
No more soul inside to steal.
When our anger turns to pain
And our friends have said goodbye
Our remorse becomes disdain
As our conscience wants to know, "Why?"
Then our vision turns within
And we see life has it's flaws
For this is what we're given
The single word is, "Because."
Then wisdom mends our heartbreak
And our bitterness subsides
The hours long and painfull
We begin to take in stride.
So now we're mostly sullen
And we've nothing much to say
We just pull ourselves
Knowing that this is the day
The knife stabs into our chest
And the scent of blood fills the air
Even if we try our best
Life always ends in dispair

Life
So time works out it's healingAnd our laughter we restore
The light seems more appealing
When we lift our head once more
When the days turn into weeks

When our anger turns to pain
And our friends have said goodbye
