Love Endures by M.A.Meddings
love endures
And absolute true love
Endures anything
Any torture or prison
Made for oneself
No respite nor parole
A thing no solitary confinement
Can destroy
It endures
Often blind
To the obvious
Cannot distinguish twixt
The real thing and affection
It hurts as it too hurts
In return
Flirts with the senses
But in the end
The sad bitter end
Of realisation
It makes one
Completely alive
love endures
