The Wedding
A vision floated down the aisleSurround by a cloud of white
Dimple laced, a radiant smile
Added to the light
Deep dark eyes with lashes thick
Shined like stars above
Cheeks pinked, her heart beat quick
As she looked upon her love
Her father gave her to the man
She promised him her heart
The man drank in her beauty and
Swore they would never part
He looked upon his precious bride
And could not thank God enough
She looked into his face and sighed
This love is blessed from above
They walked together man and wife
Joy beaming from their faces
To take the challenges of life
And win all of its races
