Sat in traffic jams on rainy November days often provide the stimulus for reflective moods

Looking Backwards by M.A.Meddings

On rain swept windows
In stationary Automobiles
I saw the reflection of you
Looking backwards to me
Then flying like you could
Have done long ago
Before I hurt you
And said wicked things
Without meaning to
So now in burdoned guilt
I come to you with
Upturned hands

asking for forgiveness is a good way to start again. This is so well written. It drew me in and left me feeling the pain of the regret.

We all, unfortunately, sometimes happen to hurt a friend without meaning to. I'm sure your friend will get the message, understand, and be reconciled with you!
