My view of the Bay.

Poetic Potpourri

collections of heart sounds
mind moods
souls found
spiritual grounds
connections, interventions, comprehensions
personal intentions
relayed, child's play, a sorrowful day,
come what may
laughter, the everafter, enraptured
all voices captured upon
the altar of public display
offering our deepest thoughts
freely and often bought
with pain and suffering
lover's delight and sometimes fight
wrongs and rights
world apart, heart to heart
all together in a community
of poetry

Dear Kathy,

As Otis might have sung: 'Just sitting on the dock of the Bay/Looks like poetry's goin' come my way/Watching the quips roll in/ Then I watch them roll away agin'.

Love you, Kathy!
