to beauty

How could my heart not fall prey to you
With your presence as alluring as fairy light
and a beauty that hypnotizes the man in me
Like that chanter dance of king snakes

Yes how could my heart not fall prey to you
You who shines with the light of great white stars
the secret sun flares that fuel the firelight lanterns
Of the heavens

How could my heart not fall prey to you
Golden from God's own hand
as refreshing as morning dew
Like the waters of the lake of heaven
you quench my deepest desires

Oh yes my heart fell prey to you
From the first moment of you
glimpsed by my ever seeking eyes
until this moment and for ever more
my heart is yours

Only a man so in love with love and a woman of great beauty inside and out could write such wonders.
