Fade to you
Fade to youWhen I wake in the morning and hear the song of the dawn chorus
I smile and think of how I want to share this melody with you.
When I open my eyes to see the morning sun raise up to light the waking skies I smile and think of how I want to share the colors of the sky
With you
When I walk along the woodland trail and smell the damp fresh air,
I grow calm and smile and think to how I would breathe this breath of life into you
When I sit beside the cool blue lake and sip its cool rejuvenating waters
I can feel its healing chill course through my veins into my soul
I smile and think to how I would quench your thirst with its healing nectar
When I sit beside the fire listening to the soft crackle and feeling the Warmth of the yellow orange glow
I sigh and think of how I wish you were here beside me to share in its warmth
When I begin to think all thoughts fade to you and I smile and think to how I could spend a lifetime with you
My one and only love
