nep, I hope it isn't too late! Oh well, I am posting anyway.

Only A Dot (Nep's art poem challenge)

Hazey faces on a fuzzy day
Dots of sun on shaded places
Out of focus and in again
My reality will spin

No detail on those around me
no eye, no lip, nor teeth or cheek
No detail in the words surronding me
no clear language do they speak

Loose translation of this world
It slips through my grips
and sinks to the floor
slides into a imaginary lake
and lies there and hides there
for sanity's sake

Removed from the scene
in a surreal repose
I am lying and watching
and no one knows

I am here
yet not
I am
in a crowd
but only a
dot.

So cleaver!! The flow and presentation are excellent and paint, along with the words, a painting to fall into. Wonderful!
