We may be the superior species yet we continue to abuse that position in life.

Who Am I?

Who am I?
To seek safe passage in the confines of my mind
Who am I?
To take great pleasure from the pain of all mankind
Who am I?
That sucks the very life, from this our mother earth
Who am I?
To say that who may live, and who might die at birth
Who am I?
To threaten nature with extintion day by day
Who am I?
Inflicting Genocide Then turns the other way
To rape the world of innocence, because I say I can
I choose the right to do these things
For I am mortal man.

Kathy Lockhart
powerful insightful piece Graham. We are here are caretakers of all we have been given. I think we often lose sight of our responsibility and end up killing the very things we should nuture that inturn nuture us. It is sad what power and greed can do to humanity. Our Lord created all things and yet He sacrificed himself for our most undeserving souls. We should at least tend to his creation with care and love.
