October bliss

In the distance, day is dawning,
I miss the moon's immaculate rays...

The smell of autumn is rising...
how I adore these October days.

The trees hold a prism of colour
I love the sound of leaves beneath my feet.
The orange and red, the colour of heat.

One by one the leaves fall down, and my smile fades...
