Inspired by the Queen Mab speech performed by Mercutio in Shakespears "Romeo and Juliet." If you are familiar with the dialogue, I applaud you.
The sneezy child who pets the cat
The light that shines on those who smile
The light that shines on every child
My shadow's depth you can't relate
My darkest mind articulate
Soul is swimming in the sand
Grasping out for solid land
Back to butter, back to bread
Back to utter sound and dread
My head can't live without the air
That's always sucked into my hair
My chair supports my fragile frame
It drops me as it plays a game
I crudely summon faith's recall
And don't feel very pained at all
On the floor, my feelings roam
Laying here, I feel at home
Standing up is foreign scene
Strangely are the times between
Fond of space and fond of time
Feeling this should be a crime
Laughing to myself it seems
Seduced by ostentatious dreams

Dreams of an Idle Brain
The breezy smile behind the hatThe sneezy child who pets the cat
The light that shines on those who smile
The light that shines on every child
My shadow's depth you can't relate
My darkest mind articulate
Soul is swimming in the sand
Grasping out for solid land
Back to butter, back to bread
Back to utter sound and dread
