Love absolutely for her

Anywhere by M.A.Meddings

Did you ever know
I suppose you do now
Just how you captured my heart
Over twelve months ago
In the rain and snow
That September
That  fractured Autumn

And how just now
When this life seemed so empty
Your smile returned
To brighten the days
And awaken my heart
Only for me to be slain
By your silken beauty

What will become of me
Without you near
What am I
But an empty shell
For without you here
I am nothing
Anywhere

If only the shell were empty, there would be no pain. But it contains a bruised heart, and it is from there this achingly beautiful poem is written.

it is getting to be a worn out phrase....(beautiful) but it is just that and more...i find the eloquence of heart extrodinary.
