This is about my dogs my girl dog died the other day by a car hitting her.

At the doorway

He stands at the doorway waiting for his love

As he knows she is waiting for him up above

She was a hound him a German Shepard

They'd play all day totally absurd

Until one day she didn't come home

He would whimper lonely as the fields he'd roam

Waiting for his love to come and play

Now he stands at the doorway

He whimpers and whines for his mate

I wonder if this really was his fate

When he eats he saved half for her

He always looks around the corner

Maybe he thinks she'll comeback one day

But for now he awaits for her at the doorway
