Ocean Of Compassion And Difference.
If enough drops of rain fall
will we get an ocean?
Or the start of a river,
that, once the flow gathers enough momentum,
will turn into a raging waterfall,
Falling with each raindrop
to swell into an ocean?
I believe
that we are those raindrops
and if enough of us band together
through the words of the poet's pen,
or lyrics of the muso's heart,
then yes,
we, as caring people, can turn
those single drops of rain into
the river's mouth, that then waterfalls
into an ocean of compassion and difference.
But can we
get enough drops of rain fall
to turn into that ocean?
