work in progress
of my depression
I prayed to God to carry me
across my sea of guilt
But his ears were sheltered
from my call
and his eyes unsearching
And his almighty arms to weak
to hold my burden
But i waited here for you,
and never moved
for you cannot be forgotten twice
I waited until i was confined
to the smell of lilies above me
Buried under by my broken souls
bleeding hands
i thought you would come
and rescue me
but all i remember is open sky
and an autumn tree
beating its branches to the
rythm of my dying memory
Now i am the wind
that causes hurricanes
The sun causing drought
I am the winter
freezing the hearts of your children
Just so i can see you on your knees
praying for a miracle
to help someone as desperate as i
But all i saw was the ignorant smile that turned away
hope and left us in misery
We have been forgotten
to many times
And now we no longer
need you

Twice Forgotten
I was a victimof my depression
I prayed to God to carry me
across my sea of guilt
But his ears were sheltered
from my call
and his eyes unsearching
And his almighty arms to weak
to hold my burden
But i waited here for you,
and never moved
for you cannot be forgotten twice
I waited until i was confined
to the smell of lilies above me
Buried under by my broken souls
bleeding hands

and rescue me
but all i remember is open sky
and an autumn tree
beating its branches to the

Now i am the wind
