How can I?

How can I tell you?
If it's not totally true

How can I have a heart?
When it fell apart

How can I tell you a lie?
When I see the tears you cry

How can I live like this?!?!
My life isn't something I can miss

I only have so many years
I don't want to continue seeing tears

Why can't you understand?
That our hearts don't comprehend

How can I actually believe?
When I know someday you'll leave
