Heart Shaped Locket

Hidden in my coat pocket
I keep a heart shaped locket

Inside is an worn photo
Of a pretty girl I know

Beautiful in black and white
With a star filled sky at night

A moment captured in time
Taken when she was still mine

I remember her embrace
Brings a smile to my face

Also a tear to my eye
So I close it with a sigh

I pray we will reunite
For just one more moonlit night

Awww Freddie, you name suits this lovely little miss you poem so well. I had a similar locket of silver when I was a teen, I managed to hold on to it right up until 2002 when it got stolen, thanks for reminding me that love can be simple and sweet, and if you are meant to be reunited, you will be.

Happy New 2007

Smiling at you, and that photo!lol
