We can hide from others both by hiding our bodies and especially our real selves; we can can even hide from our own souls through drugs and alcohol - for a while-, but will we ever be safe? Can we ever be unseen? Even by God - for those of us who believe?
and so tired, weak and wane
Used to be so cheery
What use was there to gain
Nothing to gain, my partners
Nothing but pain
The sun is far too shiney
the moon has lost its glow
Myself, just ever whiney
Worse than my best worst foe
Nothing to live for, beetles
nothing left here
But lo! I found a cleft- see
in the middle of the rock
Think I'll slip so deftly
hide there, go for a walk
BeetleMaker will keep me
as He's always done before
when I was down and sleepy
None to bug me anymore
Much restoration, partners
much restoration
In the cleft I'll hide in safety
'til I'm healed right outside in
I'm happy here and maybe
when I exit free from sin
You'll creep in, my brothers
find healing for your souls

Firefly's Hidingplace
Of wandering so wearyand so tired, weak and wane
Used to be so cheery
What use was there to gain
Nothing to gain, my partners
Nothing but pain
The sun is far too shiney
the moon has lost its glow
Myself, just ever whiney
Worse than my best worst foe
Nothing to live for, beetles
nothing left here
But lo! I found a cleft- see

hide there, go for a walk
BeetleMaker will keep me

None to bug me anymore
Much restoration, partners
much restoration
In the cleft I'll hide in safety
'til I'm healed right outside in
I'm happy here and maybe
