Have you ever tried thanking for something you didn't get yet? It does something special for a person! I learned it from a wood thrush.

Three Tiny Truths from the Thrush

The thrush eats only 'til its full
then tucks its tiny head
contentedly beneath his wing
and takes a nap instead

When morning breaks it starts to sing
and thanks its Maker kind
before it has the guarantee
of what the day might find

Hello ...

I really enjoied this poem ... I had to come back to it after reading it two times before ... from the way you structured it, to your word choice it really puts me at ease as I picture that little bird trully enjoying his life good and bad ... Thank you

that's a beautiful thought lies beneath the words. we should be thankful no matter what the fate holds in store. Gravely put 2gether. have a nice day.

This fine poem is a small, well-polished gem of wisdom. A joy to read.
