The Rose
The essences of life is reflected within a Rose
Each petal reveals a year of life just lived
Its bud reflects a woman's womb
Embracing a miracle of life within.
Its various colours resemble the Human Race
Each graced with a beauty of it's own
Its tender scent enlightens our senses
To the uniqueness of Humanity alone
The leaves are the friends that care
Protecting us from stormy times
The thorns are there to remind us
Of challenges we encounter as life unfolds
The stem resembles the pathway of Life
We're destined to take on route to Eternity
While the roots reflect our inner strength
Arising from our glowing Spirituality
