I'm glad Love's a crime[If it's a crime..nightsoulwoman's challenge]

If it's a crime to love you
then guilty do I be
but not loving one as fair as thee
would be worse of a crime committed by me.

If it's a crime to want thee
then take mine soul from mine own self
as I will love thee as long as I live
and taking my soul is the only punishment thou canst give.

If it's a crime to believe in you
then injustice ruleth all
For only fools make loving, wanting and believing in thee a crime
I canst not stopeth my love for thee, so with a smile I'll do punishment's time.
