The everyday seems ordinary no longer.
Waking to the sight of her beloved
Sleeping beside her quietly
As she caresses him lovingly
Before she rises, she cannot miss
A chance to share another kiss
Giving her the wings to fly
Over the mountains and through the sky
Running from the sunrise
Until she reaches her destination
A base of corporate operation
The lonely little room in the corner with a view
Where people around her think her a fool
She walks down the long, cold corridor to her cell
Their disdain of her is easy to tell
Nothing gives her the strength to fight
Except for the promise of one more night
Beside the one she fancies most
The one she loves more than any could boast
The one who gives her the will to survive
The one that makes her feel alive
Thoughts of him run through her mind
Memories of him so sweet and kind
She counts the seconds as they pass
Until it's time to leave at last
Her wings grow anew
For the man she gave her heart to
After her flight, she descends from the skies
Back into his arms she flies
She puts her head on his chest
Lost in his embrace, she rests.

Journey of a Lifetime
Her day begins as any otherWaking to the sight of her beloved
Sleeping beside her quietly
As she caresses him lovingly
Before she rises, she cannot miss
A chance to share another kiss
Giving her the wings to fly
Over the mountains and through the sky
Running from the sunrise
Until she reaches her destination

Their disdain of her is easy to tell
Nothing gives her the strength to fight
Except for the promise of one more night
