A short trip through life.
we will be there side by side.
Gone are the concerns of our yesterday,
lost in the sun's brilliant rays.
Freezing in the stillness of light,
we stay close and keep warm.
Not moving, we sit in quiet morn,
the sun slowly bringing us to life.
Still keeping close to each other,
we start our long journey together.
The canyon slowly surrounds us,
as we descend into the day.
Somewhere along this long journey
we fade into the canyon walls.
Each of us lost in our own heaven,
a small piece of life, of love.
A part of life's magestic story,
a chapter in this grand canyon's history.
Years written on sundrenched walls,
they tell us of its rich history.
These walls that reach toward heaven,
hold the breath of this life.
You are but one beautiful soul,
as I am but one to tell a story.

Grand Canyon
When you behold the mornings dawn,we will be there side by side.
Gone are the concerns of our yesterday,
lost in the sun's brilliant rays.
Freezing in the stillness of light,
we stay close and keep warm.
Not moving, we sit in quiet morn,
the sun slowly bringing us to life.
Still keeping close to each other,
we start our long journey together.
The canyon slowly surrounds us,
as we descend into the day.
Somewhere along this long journey
we fade into the canyon walls.
Each of us lost in our own heaven,
a small piece of life, of love.
A part of life's magestic story,
a chapter in this grand canyon's history.
Years written on sundrenched walls,
they tell us of its rich history.
These walls that reach toward heaven,
hold the breath of this life.
You are but one beautiful soul,
as I am but one to tell a story.
