Catatonia
Even the words are
Against me,
Hiding behind
My memories
And can't be drawn
To sound,
Leaving me mute
As an idiot.
Brain stops.
No thoughts,
No sounds.
Nothingness
Inside.
Then
Through the
Oblivion
Of sleep,
All
Changes
And I awake,
Open to everything.
A rush of ecstasy,
Inflating like a balloon
Swollen with ideas,
And I rush out
Into the world
Madly alive.
