The love behind a bouquet of flowers.
The gift that is shared
by friends, families, and spouses
to signify their relationship
Or a reminder of their bonds
to be displayed
for all to see
Given for congratulations
Honor, amends,
Or just to say,
"I'm thinking of you."
Each pedal, a kiss
from the sender
in their absence,
The long, bumpy stem,
memories,
lost and forgotten,
good and bad,
and when the stem shrivels up
When the pedals fall away,
and the flowers die,
the love behind the sender's thought
is released,
all at once,
into your heart,
Where it remains
for all eternity!

Flowers
Nature's words of loveThe gift that is shared
by friends, families, and spouses
to signify their relationship
Or a reminder of their bonds
to be displayed
for all to see
Given for congratulations
Honor, amends,
Or just to say,
"I'm thinking of you."
Each pedal, a kiss
from the sender
in their absence,
The long, bumpy stem,
memories,
lost and forgotten,
good and bad,
and when the stem shrivels up
When the pedals fall away,
and the flowers die,
the love behind the sender's thought
is released,
all at once,
into your heart,
Where it remains
for all eternity!
