Lions on the Move

THrough wide angle lense
Lions prowl search track
Exotic carnivore delights
Wild buffalo zebras impalas

Serengeti's simmering sweating sun
bows through the wild thick grass.
Full moon
Mirrored untamed
Floating eyes

Lions prowl deeper

Curtains of darkness drop
The huge dark machine
hides the familiar
Fusing fear

Ears perched high
Hearts racing
Heads revolving
Noses dripping
Bloods rising

Lions prowl deeper

Inclement weather ahead
Silver red blacken clouds disperse
Lightening fires an arrow of
Black and white stripes
Fusing the energy

Suddenly they burst out
With the crack of thunder
Crashing frantic hooves
rock the dusty ground
clenshed claws
grip and tear
dragging the wilder beast
Down
