Written after the first tsunami.
What was she thinking?
Face
Down
In the sand,
Bikini
Protecting her
Modesty.
Surrounded by
The aching
Debris
Of the
Tsunami.
What was
She thinking?
We saw her
Lying on a
Sandy clearing
On the beach,
Driftwood piled up
Round her.
The whole world
Saw her
Sunbathing
In the midst
Of utter
Devastation.
What was
She
Thinking?
Maybe she'd
Stopped thinking.
It was safer.
