A golden locket
And there in lies my lady love
Penned up in that tiny clasp and chain
A golden locket
And there in lies my lady love
Penned up in that tiny clasp and chain
My dreams
Hopes
Cares
Staring at the be-speckled bauble
Are deep green eyes
Staring back beckoning me
To join her there
At her side in the other compartment
And when closed
We will stare into each others eyes forever
Never worn
Tucked away in dresser drawer
