The day you walked away

It's hard to say what I'm feelin' you know
I'm always lookin' for something I don't know
spend my nights awake while the pain is killin' me
and there's no way out that my eyes can see
I don't know why I'm feelin' like that
don't know why I'm feelin' so sad
everything is changing inside my world
and I don't feel like I felt before
altough I hide my feelings behind a smile
my problems keep on comin' back on my mind
but now I can figure out when it all got worse
and remember your face is the thing that hurts me the most

Since my eyes lost your smile
nothing has been the same again in my life
even though I tried to move on
it was hard to stay all alone
you made me happier and stronger
and I wanted us to last longer
but everything ended that day
the day you walked away...
