I Met A Man.

I met a man while out somewhere
Who said he didn't have a care
He had no love, he held no hate
He didn't care if he was late
No job, no worries and all alone
No place to even call a home
Sadness no, or even pain
Nothing to lose and less to gain
No future, past, yet time to waste
No need to hurry, no need for haste
Dependants none, not even a wife
And maybe this was not his life
Is there such a man without a care
Or maybe he was never there.

Ah! I'm sure he WAS there, and he was either the Happy Wanderer, or the Whistling Gypsy...oops! are we still allowed to use that (beautiful) word?

That would be the big question.... was he even there? Or was he a sad one who simply doesn't care? Hmm.....
