Wrote this today, it's self explanatory.
roses and tulips there I did lay.
Beneath the cold ground his heartbeat is still,
gold memories of him are all I have 'til;
our meeting in Heaven,
please tell me it's true.
My heartaches are many, my pleasures so few
without him.
The graveyard so peaceful,
with birdsong of Spring,
robins watch me each time my dad's flowers I bring.
A card from one sister, bouquet from another,
and a bowl of bright daffs from my heart-broken brother.
More than three years now since you left us Dad,
every day seems more empty, and somehow more sad.
Although you are gone your life's goals remain,
but without you here,
they are never the same.
Your are always remembered dear Dad by us all,
inour hearts and minds you are there to recall.

The Loved One
Went to his grave again today,roses and tulips there I did lay.
Beneath the cold ground his heartbeat is still,
gold memories of him are all I have 'til;
our meeting in Heaven,
please tell me it's true.
My heartaches are many, my pleasures so few
without him.
The graveyard so peaceful,

robins watch me each time my dad's flowers I bring.
A card from one sister, bouquet from another,
and a bowl of bright daffs from my heart-broken brother.
More than three years now since you left us Dad,

Although you are gone your life's goals remain,
but without you here,
they are never the same.
