A little snippet of this poem
comes from my favorite poem,
"In Flanders Fields" by John McCrae
and blend themselves in sweet romance,
swaying softly in the breeze
with no one but themselves to please.
The poppies meld so, row on row
with nowhere but this place to go,
casting up their lovely heads
in this graveyard flowerbed.
Do these soldiers, buried here
enjoy these poppies year on year?
Mayhaps their souls defend this land
as only warriors understand.

Spring Dance
In this vale the flowers danceand blend themselves in sweet romance,
swaying softly in the breeze
with no one but themselves to please.
The poppies meld so, row on row
with nowhere but this place to go,
casting up their lovely heads
in this graveyard flowerbed.
Do these soldiers, buried here
