The Incomprehensibility of Love

Love can really be set on fire
When ones feeling act as an electrical wire.
This, one should respect and also admire,
It can't be shed like some ecclesiastical attire.

Be aware that you cannot from such a feeling flee
About this you certainly agree.
So one must always very careful be,
As Love and Hate are branches on the same tree.

But as Hate corrodes your soul like rust on metal,
And burns your heart like stinging nettle.
Better let your Love prevail and all your differences settle
Than against your adversary you should repel.

Even if you try until your time-worn bones are riding in a hearse,
The perplexity of this tiny little verse
Probably never ever you will disperse
Because its meaning widely diverse.

I think I got the message, and you are not wrong. Love is a certain song and no one can change that tune. Hatred however is tunable imo, but as you describe, it does walk very closely in loves shadow, so vigilance is essential to avoid becomming enveloped by it's corrosive properties. Smiling at you, Tai
