It's about a woman who was murdered last year and she was a friend of mines mum.
With loathing words still
Blooming from your lips.
I never really knew you,
We were different but
We were the same.
You disagreed and didn't care
You soaked yourself in addiction.
But you are a still a flower nonetheless.
I was there the day you died and
I was there to remember you.
You were at a stage both radiant and mature
And it was cut short
You wilted.
The sun reflected your glorious moments
As we stood solemn in illumination
While the golden flowers bloomed
And sang their unfolding elegy
Dedicated to you on your last journey.
My everlasting memory of you
Are daily words that hold meaning:
I will see you tomorrow.

February Flowers
It has been a year since you fellWith loathing words still
Blooming from your lips.
