Final Moment
Fear drawn in sharplyShadowing colour; pure in detail.
What lies behind such mysterious eyes?
Laden in grief, and despair
Sudden thoughts flash by
Just to judge what you think.
A shimmer of what her life holds.
I glower at a ravens ebony eye
Eyes fill up with sharp pain,
And burst their banks.
Lucre black hair feathers
Over a white washed face
Cold fingers dripping blood
That shallow centre raking up all that's gone.
My life replayed in seconds
Drowned in birthing poison.
My gaze locked on hers.
In breath must come death,
And I'm staring straight at it.
