April
April's here again and how! What else can we say but WOW!
How many of you have a blackbird tame,
a singing thrush comes again and again....
A tiny wren who wrings the heart with his song,
to who does all this Glory belong?
Bluetits and sparrows
pierce my heart with arrows
as I wonder
at the wonder
of the Eternal Love.
Bluebells spilling out of the ground,
they just appeared, without a sound!
A Glory of nature, it can't be denied,
but my robin died
I just sat and cried.
Please go out and collect your waste,
to do not so is a lack of taste
and ignorance, and arrogance too
garbage makes dodos of me and you.
A precious jewel is this earth of ours,
with a wealth of grass and lovely flowers.
It's becoming a wasteland of crap and plastic,
our attitude evil and something drastic!
Very often these days, I find myself picking
up
packing from chicken, "finger-licking" good!
If only folk would do what they should!
Pick up others garbage, and don't leave litter -
you might save the life of an innocent critter!
