enormity

these cells,
these cogs,
these whirls
bloom bright
red and orange delirium-
as shoeless
I drive,
a race to the light.

senseless,
I head towards slightness-
equilibrium
unbalanced.

life's atrocities
become its intricacies

yet they don't notice
the way
the yellow fades
to blue-white shades
of vastness

interrupted only
by the face
of an unknown deity.

What a wonderful poem it is! I like these two lines:

"life's atrocities
become its intricacies"

You have a right to be kind of happy with what you have written so far and posted here at Poetbay.
