Walk On The Wild Side by M.A.Meddings
I watch silently from my window
As you walk disparagingly on the wild side
Uncaring what we think
We who know nothing of life
Excepting for fast cars and getting on
Smart sloane set rangers
Upwardly mobile but not like thee
To you upwardly mobile is in a tree
And ecstacy?
Why thats stretching like a catwalk virgin
Teasingly burgeoning the senses of me
Reminding me of lithe lycra clad beauties
In gymnastic poses designed to pull the back
Energetic exertions of middle age
Whilst you never show your age
Indeed your rage hardly ever shows
Its not the thing to do super cool you
Walk on the wild side dont be phased
Just be you.
Owe nothing to anyone
Let them adore you
Just do that pussy cat
Walk on the wild side
