The unavoidable end

Ribs glare in rows
Tight jeans hang
He's gotten thinner
Since they rang.

Like the limpets
Hair clings with wet
The ocean spray
The beaded sweat.

Pumped full but empty
He's on his way down
The waves hit the rocks
He's already drowned.

Piercing the skin
Like the bullets of ice
The syringe is discarded
He's thrown the dice.

The roulette of rejection
He stands on the cliffs
Clawed down to the cold
He hangs by the myths.

Ribs throb through the skin
Ripped jeans fray
He got the call
And life ran away.

Like the rockpools
His eyes are clear
He takes a step

I love this "it's all coming to an end" poems. I like the way you choose your words.
I like the first line the best. I think it has got a pretty uniqe feel to it.
Keep it up. :D
