Tomboy Metamorphosis by M.A.Meddings
Tomboy blossoming at 16You could see how beautiful
She would be a teenage queen
And how in her tee shirt and jeans
Toughing it out amongst boys it seems
Her gentleness began to show
Well I guess you all know
How girls blossom right about then
Subtle changes at the hips
And an enchanting effected pout to her lips
Especially when she discovered lipstick
Big sister coaching on how to apply
And as she finds out, well oh boy
Does she look different ?
An emerging butterfly
From the crysalis of puberty
An enchanting change
To win the heart of me
At times they call it metamorphosis
But I have a different name
Freckle faced tomboy
Has become a woman
