a gentlemans repectful conduct towards a lady is the most sacred gift he has to give

No conduct of mine by M.A.Meddings

No Conduct of mine

By M.A.Meddings

No conduct of mine could ever be
Such which allowed you to see
That unbecoming a gentleman

Therefore with that in mind
1 defer to my kind a status
I hope you prefer than

The soft spoken kind
Without your care in mind and
A random if rather well groomed man

For my mind and the soul
Are not that so old but it's the heart
Of an old fashioned gentleman

i'm not sure there are truly any old-fashioned gentleman left, i think they went the way of gnomes, elves and fairies. and dragons and halflings and chivalry. ;)

still, nice to see anyone out there still believes in such ideals.

nice poem :)

When the word 'gentlemen' is spoken, it reminds ourselves of when. Good use. :)

Yes i fear they are becoming a thing of the past, which is a great pity and a loss to all. :-)

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL OLD-WORLD-CHARM PIECE!
Alas! it is an endangered species,
In fact on the verge of extinction!
OR IS IT ALREADY EXTINCT?
Haven't come across a "gentleman" in a long time...?
